Crossing the Big 3-0

Well, it’s already been 6 years since I wrote Turning 24!!! Sad that the age bucket changed but it seems I have matured enough to let it go :D

One of my friends forwarded me this link recently. And I was like, dude seriously? Except point no 1, 6 and 10, I think rest 12 are out of my league. You don’t have to be sooooooo boring when you cross 30!

To be frank, I didn’t mind turning 30. Though some people think it’s the end of your youth, I feel it’s the time when you are still young & exciting and much more confident about yourself than ever before. For me, it’s a big change from 24 to 30!

  • I am no longer conscious about how do I look or present myself except for the important events.
  • I really don’t care now about what people think of me.
  • I prefer to stay at home and spend my time in painting or reading instead of attending gossip parties (and I don’t regret it at all!).
  • Buying books which are bestsellers and in hypes is no longer my trend. I know what my taste is and get a book which fits to it.
  • Always being surrounded by friends or family is not my need now. Sometimes, it’s quite good to stay alone and enjoy your own company.
  • I have fewer friends! Though it seems bad but believe me it’s actually a very good thing. I am now in contact with the friends who truly matter to me!
See, its not bad at all! :)

  1. Yessss....absolutely true in my case too...for me entering 30s with a transformation was one of the best experience. I found some unseen side of me. And found a new goal and destinations to reach. 30s are not the end of youth but surely a great begining of more powerful, super energetic and more peaceful you...
